Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
A special item can be used to develop specific Pokemon. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc, and is often given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be found in armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to increase the level of their item. The upgrade costs Flightstones and crests, depending on the type of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to give attribute bonuses or additional effects while the equipment is being used. item upgrader are only available on equipment that has an upgrade slot available. The majority of upgrade components require that the item to be upgraded is above a certain level. Certain upgrade items also come with special visual effects when they are applied to an item of equipment. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, purchased from karma merchants or traded with other players on the Trading Post, used to repair equipment, or acquired as rewards during games.
There are different upgrade components, each of which comes with distinct bonuses. Universal upgrades, which include gems and inscriptions, are able to be used with any kind of equipment, and offer less bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions can be used on non-amulet and legendary ascended items, while enrichments can be utilized on certain back equipment that has been ascended. Injecting an upgrade component can destroy the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, which can only be used into gathering tools, and enchantments. Both are able to be removed and then reinserted.
Insignias and enchantments will display their names on the hover display of the item, while prefix and suffix upgrades will add their names to the end of the equipment name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components added to an item will be visible in the tooltip of the item.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, like ligatures, ornaments, fractions and swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel lets you add and view these unique characters as well as common symbols like em and en dashes, as well being registered trademark symbols.
Each Glyph gives a character a boost in their primary stats. The glyph could also be equipped with up to four secondary stats that will alter the radius of your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase which is multiplied by other bonuses, with the exception of Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.
Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will display a new window with the Glyphs you have that can be applied to the item you have selected. Note that only the right kind of Glyph can be applied to the item you are looking for and each weapon, jewelry or armor piece has distinct sets of Glyphs.
Glyphs can be improved by completing Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult a Dungeon is, the more Glyph experience you'll earn. Once a Glyph reaches level 15 it is upgradeable at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The radius of the Paragon Board increases by one node for every 15 levels at which a Glyph is upgraded.
Once a Glyph has reached the desired level, it is possible to activate it. Select it, then click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will provide the stated bonus and increase the number of nodes in its range on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be placed in areas that will benefit your building the most. This is why you should consider Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs could also provide double bonus in the event that certain conditions are met.
If you're having difficulty finding a particular glyph click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to display the panel in a number of different views. Each of these views displays the Glyphs in different fonts. You can reduce the number of glyphs by selecting an option under "Entire Font". For example, punctuation only displays punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols restricts the selection to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is the process of creating a new account in order to increase your chances of obtaining the weapon or character you'd like. This can be done in order to level up faster, or to get better loot such as the purchase of a new weapon for your character. Many players play until the character they desire is available, regardless of its ability. This could be because they like the character's design or personality.
When you reroll, you need be sure that the changes you're making are clean. This means you should verify locally that the patch passes the pre-commit tests and conduct a core development check. It is also recommended to upload the patch to an issue with plain diff (see What about an interdiff? ).
Rerolls can take days or even weeks to complete, based on the luck of the draw. To cut down on time, avoid the enemy camps which are not mandatory during this period. In addition you should not re-do any quests that can be completed later in the game. This will save time and energy.
Another important aspect to consider when rerolling is to be sure you are aware of the upgrade system. There are a variety of ways to enhance your character's appearance and power. Upgrades, rerolling characters or upgrading weapons are all options. Additionally, it is important to know the limitations of the upgrade system.
Rerolling is not a necessary element of the game but it can be useful to increase your chances of getting the right weapon or character. It is a great option when you're trying to find the best character in the game or if you want to try out different styles of play and builds.
Sets
A set is a collection of objects with common-2 attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen, or the members of the class). Sets permit operations like union, intersection and distinction.
Upgrades can make a set better than it was before. This means that armor and weapons will have a higher defense value and lower requirements for strength.
Upgrades can bring items that are popular from single sets to parity with items in higher-level sets. For example, upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to an Elite Spired Helm can increase the defense from 217 to 321 while also reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a more manageable range.
However it's important to keep in mind that not all set items are suitable candidates for upgrading. Some sets, such as the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield, a spec's item or Naj's Puzzler staff are already Exceptional and Elite in their individual ways and do not require any upgrades. Certain items, such as Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are frequently used may be benefited by an upgrade to boost their stats. It might be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
